THE VINEYARDS
Boatique Winery is located in the picturesque Red Hills Appellation at 2266 feet above sea level. The 47 acres of rolling vineyards are scattered between alpine and oak forests on the estate. The combination of rich volcanic soil, high elevation farming, and some of the cleanest air in California are what make the Red Hills Appellation famous for yielding grapes with thick skins and greater tannins, which in turn produce intense yet elegant wines. Located on the valley floor, nestled in the Big Valley Appellation, long known for its superb Sauvignon Blanc production, our Sauvignon Blanc vines thrive in alluvial soils.

THE TREES
The avenue of Barouni olive trees that line Boatique winery’s entrance and garden, were planted in 1887 and relocated to Boatique in 2015. The Barouni variety, originating from Tunisia are cold resistant and a gorgeous addition to any landscape. Purchased from Ancient Olive trees, who specialize in providing mature olive trees, along with olive oil, balsamic and dirty martini juice. Visit Ancient Olive Trees for more information on these incredible trees.
