Welcome drinks should be festive yet comforting, and what better way to say “hello” than with bubbles?  

Menu Ideas: Crab cakes (crab season starts November 7th), oysters on the half shell with mignonette, tempura fried shrimp, fried calamari, triple cream brie, gougeres (small cheesy cream puffs available from local baker Playflight Bakery!) and even fried chicken wings. Santé!

2019 Sauvignon Blanc

A lovely balanced and structured wine to kick off the feast.   

Menu Ideas:  Goat cheese and lightly dressed arugula salad, herbed chicken skewers, or faro and radish salad. 

Interested in adding a little Italian flair to your Thanksgiving? Try a pea, pancetta and pesto pasta.

Main Course

Petite Sirah

Whether your turkey is grilled, smoked, roasted, or served with a mole sauce – this is the perfect wine.  

Side Dish Suggestions: Potato and leek gratin, a wild mushroom and sausage stuffing, roasted green beans with tomatoes, or tangy macaroni salad. Don’t forget to save some turkey for making chili the next day – another perfect pairing with Petite Sirah.
